I can't say anything for the food since our waitress never came back to take our order despite trying to catch her attention. Another review stated it felt like a private club, it definitely did. Outsiders aren't made to feel welcome.

Very tasty BBQ. Had a half slab of baby back, decent sauce, liked the cole slaw and okra. Very casual but that was part of the fun. A local hang out I stumbled upon. Worth a visit over a national chain anyday.

Checked this joint out for lunch. It was ok.  I was hoping for authentic food, but it tasted more like a chain. For about $11,  I had the all you can eat fish, shrimp, and rib tips. I opted for corn nuggets and baked beans for my sides. I wouldn't order the baked beans as they looked more like pork-n-beans. The shrimp were popcorn size, decent sized strip of fish (probably pollock or possibly cod, but doubtful). Didn't care for the BBQ sauce they had. But the portions were huge.  I barley made a dent in round 1, so for all you can eat, you would get your money worth. Customer service was spot on. Not bad, but not great.

There are a lot of barbecue joints around the Shawnee, and they have similar fare, but the 3E has some good meats for the eats and is easy on the wallet. Come hungry and expect some leftovers. The portions are vast.
